Wedding photography is so important! As the years go by, the images of your special day become more important and precious each year. Because of the extended costs of a wedding such as dresses, flowers, catering, meals, and more, there is a tendency to cut corners on the photography expense. We encourage you to consider that after all is said and done, the photographs will become the most precious lasting possessions taken from your special day.

We offer three wedding packages, the Duet, the Dance, and the Symphony. All include beautiful albums and are similar in quality and presentation of images. The main difference between the packages is in album size and options, such as bridal portrait sessions and parents’ albums. We offer several different album styles including traditional matted albums, bound “book” albums, and storybook albums.

Two photographers (minimum) will be shooting the wedding to ensure complete coverage of the event. Black and White photographs are included in all packages (we love black and white wedding photography!), as well a a few special photographs which may be “hand colored” and artistically enhanced. Each and every image that goes into the album is retouched and enhanced to create a beautiful balanced look that tells the story of your special day.

The Reflections Session is included with all weddings. This is a special session of you and your spouse in a casual romantic setting (usually outdoors). Our vision is to capture the spirit of your unique relationship through images. This session ideally takes place about a month before the ceremony. We select the most appropriate image (with your input!) and print it in 16x20 black and white or brown tone . A custom 4 inch matte frames the photo on all sides. We bring this to your reception for all of your guests to sign. We also make a slide show of the other images to project during your reception! Our brides and her guests love this!

Getting to know you by doing the Reflections Session has significant benefits. On your wedding day you will be more relaxed for the photographs as you will know what to expect from us. Also, we will attend and shoot the wedding rehearsal at no extra charge. We prefer to do this as it not only gives us a chance to meet the people involved in the ceremony, but also allows us to plan our approach to shooting the ceremony. During the rehearsal we may also have some suggestions to help the photographs be the best they can be. When we shoot the “formals” on wedding day, it also helps that we have met everyone and makes for better photos! Our philosophy is that the better acquainted we are, the better photographs you will receive.

Every wedding has a unique “flow” and we do our best to relieve a little of your anxiety and help you to have fun!. We enjoy being actively involved and will always keep the lines of communication open.

A Bridal Portrait Session is highly recommended! This gives you a chance to try out your dress, shoes, and accessories. Many of our brides have thanked us for this when they discovered that their dresses needed additional fitting to make it through an entire wedding day!

You will receive all images of the wedding on a CD. We typically shoot from 400-800 images on the wedding day. Your CD will also include the images from the Reflections Session and the images from the Bridal Portrait Session (depending on package).

Your engagement photo is included with all packages at no extra charge. We will optimize the image for newspaper printing and you will also receive a complimentary 8x10 of the engagement photo.

We invite you to our studio for a free wedding consultation. There are many details to our wedding packages that are impossible to communicate in a web page (for instance, be sure to ask us about the “first look” session that focuses on your relationship with gorgeous “flow posing”!). We will be happy to show you several albums (duplicates of actual delivered albums). The consultation is also a good time to inform us of any specific needs or requests that you have. We may be able to customize one of our wedding packages just for you!
